DonationsFunding for the Joy Cart is provided by financial and new toy or gift donations from individuals, groups and businesses. Funds received are used to purchase toys for distribution to the pediatric patients at local children’s hospitals and other organizations serving children in crisis situations. Financial DonationsDue to storage, costs, and time associated with maintaining a large inventory of toys, Jarrett’s Joy Cart appreciates donations in financial form. We owe it to you, our generous donors, to keep overhead costs to a minimum, using your donations for toys and gifts for the kids. Click here to give using our secure online donation form. We gladly accept checks or cash. For more information or to send your donations by mail, contact your local chapter. All donations are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service code. You will receive a receipt for your records. Toys and GiftsToys and gifts, for children ages 0–18, should range in value from $5 to $15. All toys donated must be new and in original packaging. Due to health guidelines, no gently used items will be accepted. The Joy Cart also supplies small novelty-type items for treasure boxes in children’s hospital specialty clinics. |
